On non-Pro version of Windows you'll need to Google for the equivalent registry hacks. On Pro versions of Windows you can do this using gpedit.msc (set Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard > Turn on Virtualization Based Security to Disabled. I need to install Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) via Virtualbox. I’ve tried loading from the command line as well with the same results. The installation of VirtualBox on my new laptop (VirtualBox-5.2.14-123301-Win) shows only 32-bit versions of OS (Linux, Windows, and Others) when using Create Virtual Machine. I can post the link, when I am permitted to do so. I have a bug report, screen print, and Windows system information that is available on my OneDrive. I have the same problem with my new laptop.
